BLEU CHEESE STUFFED
COLEMAN BURGERS
Ingredients
- 1 pound Coleman Natural Ground Chuck (or other Coleman Ground Beef)
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- (You can also add 2 teaspoons Worcestershire Sauce or your favorite steak sauce as an
interesting flavor option)
Stuffing
- 1 Cup crumbled Bleu Cheese
- 1 Tablespoon softened butter
- ¼ Cup finely chopped green onions or scallions
Directions
- In a large bowl, combine the meat, salt, pepper (and the steak sauce if you choose)
- Form into 8 equal patties about 3/8" inch thick.
- Refrigerate while preparing the stuffing.
- Put the cheese in a small bowl and blend in the butter with a fork.
- Mix in the onions, using a fork to blend the ingredients to a creamy consistency.
- Remove patties from the refrigerator and place equal amounts of the cheese stuffing on
the center of half of them.
- Cover the stuffing with the remaining patties and seal the edges by pressing them
together with your fingers.
- Grill, broil, or sauté to the desired doneness.
