Preparation
In large Dutch oven heat the broth. Add the meat and all remaining ingredients. Place in a 350'F oven for approximately 1 1/2 hours. Remove Dutch oven and place on heating unit. Mix the cornstarch and water together. Add to the cooked broth and stir until thickened. Serve stew in small hollowed rye bread rounds. Serve leftover bread with apple butter. Makes 4 servings. Prep Time: 1 hour and 30 minutes
