In Memory of Mel Coleman

It is with great sadness that we need to inform you of the passing away of the founder of Coleman Natural Products, Mel Coleman.

Mr. Coleman passed away Sunday, February 3, 2002 at his home in Louisville, Colorado.

We want to thank Mel and the Coleman family for their vision and pioneer spirit. Mel believed that raising cattle without the use of any growth stimulants, antibiotics or hormone implants was a better way to raise cattle. His vision was to make sure that food would be safe for future generations.

Coleman believes that the rotational grazing practices instituted by the Coleman family have proven that raising cattle the right way is helpful to the environment and helps wildlife by improving the riparian habitats.

Our world is truly a better place because of Mel Coleman. We can have more confidence in the food we eat, enjoy the beauty of the land we live in, and be inspired by the spirit of a man who taught us to fight for the things in which we truly believe.

We are indebted to Mel and his family for the great traditions and vision set forth by Mel.
